Book Boxes

Book Art, particularly in the form of “book boxes” is a regular ongoing interest of mine. Several regional libraries in Virginia, including  the Fishersville Public Library and in my home town, the Staunton Public Library, have  provided exhibit venues for these works..  Examples of these works acan be seen below.  A related  project is the approximately 120 “Oz Boxes (Beyond Oz),”  that I have made which  consist of dioramas  constructed  using cigar boxes  as a base. These works consist of figures from the Frank Baum stories (Doothy, Toto, The Tin Man, Scarecrow and the Tin Man  confronting our world.
