Beyond Barbie is an attempt on my part to take America’s most famous doll and to explore her meaning as a “goddess” in the context of multiple subjects from Drive Ins, to death and mortification, kitchen wares and so on. This project was realized as a solo show at the Arts Alliance Gallery in Harrisonburg, Virginia in the Winter of 2024.
